Camp Chikopi in Ontario, Canada provides boys with a safe, active, and well-maintained environment for summer living and sport. Our summer sports programs take place across our fields, waterfront, courts, and trails.
Cabins
Campers live in 12 to 14 person wood cabins, grouped by age. Each cabin is supervised by 2 or 3 counselors.
Washrooms
Modern washroom facilities include flushing toilets and running water.
Dining
Meals are prepared in our kitchen and served family-style in the MainHouse. Camp Chikopi is a nut-free facility. We accommodate most dietary needs and allergies.
Camp Setting
Our campus sits on Ahmic Lake and is surrounded by forest, providing space for sport, waterfront activities, and outdoor living.

Swimming Pool
We operate a 50 metre in-lake bulkhead swimming pool.
Watercraft
Cedar strip canoes, sunfish sailboats, CL16 sailboats,and flatwater kayaks are available for waterfront programs.

Camp fire, BBQ, Archery range, bocce courts, tetherball, library, and game room.
Laundry
On-site laundry service is provided.
All facilities are inspected each summer and meet Ontario health and safety standards.
Camp Chikopi maintains approximately a 3 to 1 camper to staff ratio.
Staff members provide supervision throughout the day in cabins, at activities, and during waterfront programs.
Certified lifeguards are present during all aquatic activities. Certified First Aiders are included on off-camp excursions such as road cycling trips.
Our focus is consistent supervision, practical leadership, and daily accountability.
The health and safety of campers is a priority.
Health Records
Each camper has an individual health file that includes medical history, allergies, and relevant information.
First Aid and CPR
Staff are trained in first aid and CPR.
Doctor Access
A qualified doctor is accessible if needed.
Hospital Access
Hospital facilities are within driving distance of camp.
Camp Chikopi is non-denominational and welcomes campers of all backgrounds.
On Sundays, campers gather for a short morning vesper focused on values such as citizenship, honesty, loyalty, and friendship.
Each summer, Camp Chikopi welcomes boys from multiple countries. Approximately 65 to 75 percent of campers return, creating a strong sense of continuity.
The international mix provides exposure to different cultures, perspectives, and friendships.
Enrollment is capped at approximately 70 campers. This allows us to maintain a close community where boys know one another and staff know each camper by name.
Registration operates on a first come, first served basis. Early application is recommended. For session options and tuition details, please review our 2026 session dates and fees.

A 13 percent government tax is added to session fees as required.
A detailed tuck shop account statement is emailed in September reflecting any balance due or refund.
Campers who are not Ontario residents incur a medical insurance fee. The medical insurance fee includes: 2 sheets, 2 blankets, 3 towels, and a life jacket.

Camp Chikopi offers three travel options:
Airport Transport
Transportation to and from Toronto Pearson International Airport.
Four Points by Sheraton Meeting Point
Pick up and drop off from the hotel lobby.
Direct Drive
Camp is approximately three and a half hours north of Toronto.
