Phonecalls
Phonecalls to campers and staff begin at breakfast on Wednesday 3 July, please be patient, every parent will be phoning for the first few meals wanting to check in with their sons. There is one phone on camp, it is in the dining hall. Campers receive calls in the dining hall during breakfast, lunch or dinner, those are the three times of day when they are beside the phone. If your call is not answered it is because we are eating that meal somewhere else, for example, on Monday we went into Magnetawan to join the Canada Day parade, we ate our lunch in town, but we came back to camp for our dinner.
Chikopi's clock is on Central (Chicago) time, our meals are:
Breakfast 8.30-9.15am
Lunch 12.40-1.20pm
Dinner 6-6.45pm
Campers can phone home after lunch or dinner, each cabin has a day to use the phone,
Cabin 3 = Wednesday
Cabin 5 = Thursday
Cabin 6 = Friday
Cabin 7 = Saturday
Cabin A = Monday
Cabin 8 = Tuesday
Sunday is for campers who were unable to call home or their parents were not available.
