After a blistering hot day marching through 4 inches of dust just to walk to and from my airplane, it was a great pleasure to visit the Chikopi webpage and see you all enjoying camp and the beautiful Ahmic Lake. It's been over 20 years since I spent the summer as a Chikopi man, and I want to tell you right now that your experience at camp is going to stick with you for the rest of your life. The excitement of capture the flag, the Rambo Hunt, murderball, sailing, canoeing and swimming will continue to be talked about long after you all have gone your separate ways. You are sharing in an experience that literally thousands of young men before you now hold as treasured memories. Enjoy the crisp waters, savor each mealtime get-together, and make as many friendships as you can. "We are Fam-i-ly" Tell Patrick his dad misses him and he'll see him before Christmas.
