Happy Canada Day

The weather started off cloudy and drizzly but we were determined to make the most of Canada Day.  After breakfast we participated in Magnetawan’s Parade and fun day activities.  To the delight of the crowds we marched through the town behind Bronis playing the bagpipes.  At the pavilion we ate lunch and received cake from Magnetawan Council.  At the beach we entered several of our castles in the sand castle competition, several boys received bongo lessons, and played a large game of toss the tattie, (potatoe), and enjoyed the sites from the bucket rides.  Our cardboard boat made it off the dock but not by much.  After ice-cream we returned to camp for dinner.
