After camp, Declan swam in the annual Welland Recreational Waterway sanctioned 5 km race, on Sunday August 19, hosted by Welland Masters Swim Team and Brock Niagara Aquatics.

Congratulations Declan, he finished 4th overall in a time of 1.09.07.
