Bob Duenkel led Camp Chikopi for over 40 years, during that time his gentle - giant ways inspired and shaped thousands of adolescent, teenage and young adult boys to set goals and achieve more than they ever thought possible.
To honour Bob, Camp Chikopi and The Chikopi Foundation are pleased to announce they will host “Bob Day” on the grounds of Camp Chikopi on Saturday, 3rd August 2019. The Day will be filled with fun activities and food for all, and as with all Bob’s special events, there will be an element of surprise.
As Camp will be in full swing, Bob Day will begin with check-in at 1:30pm. During the Day there will be an opportunity to tour Chikopi, look for your name in the cabin, and buy souvenirs at the 5 and Dime.
An RSVP is required by 24th July 2019; please list the names of each guest, years attended Chikopi and ages of anyone under 18 years old. A waiver has to be signed at check-in.
There is no cost for the day but donations towards improvements and renovations will be greatly appreciated at check-in.
