Dear Colette,
Thank you so much for your message and for taking the time to share your reflections on Joshua’s time at Chikopi. It truly means the world to us.
We are so grateful for the positive impact that his stay had on him. Joshua has come home with a renewed sense of responsibility and a noticeable boost in his long-distance swimming, which we attribute to the wonderful experiences and encouragement he received at Chikopi. We feel very fortunate to have had him be a part of such a supportive and nurturing environment.
Joshua is already anticipating his return to Chikopi as a CIT ;-)

Hi Colette
I just wanted to send you a note to give a big thank you to you and your team for running such an amazing camp. I will hear much more about it tonight, but I briefly spoke with Robert on his way home and he had nothing but positive comments to give about the camp. He had an amazing time, made great connections and loved everything! He commented on the delicious food and the extra portions he helped himself to as a result. He definitely wants to go back next year although it will be longer than the 2 weeks.
Given this was his first experience away, I was a bit apprehensive although you were great to get me past the first phase, then getting Robert’s letter and all the Instagram photos of the camp showing happy Robert (engaged in activities) kept the worries at bay.
I hope you enjoyed the rest of your summer and we will certainly see you next year. I’ve spread the word and a couple more boys are also planning to join in next year. I am so happy that Robert had this experience
